I did this piece originally because I was inspired by the Totoro porject. Then after doing th epiece I realized that I wanted to add my own creature in the scene. I really love this painting as it tells alot about my childhood. So instead of sticking a familiar creature (totoro) I thought I would design my own. In the end I think this is the version I prefer anyways....what do you guys think?

Wow, so what program do you use to do these? I saw the concept of "robotech painting" what is that? I've never done art with programs, but I like the way these ones look, so I'm interested in expanding my horizons. My work tends to be more painting and sketching (mayajoyintheworld.wordpress.com). I think that when I look at pieces done with programs or on the computer, I look at things in the content or meaning that jump out at me (and I like yours), more so than the aesthetic qualities.
